Happy Friday! This week has been a busy one with several successful clients events in the books for Maker’s Mark and The Lowell. We have some exciting agency updates to share as well and a new spotlight series with our intern team. Read more to hear about what’s going on at EVINS…

On Monday, July 8th, a group of 15 members of the trade joined Maker’s Mark for a luncheon, smoker tour, exclusive tasting and demonstration at Blue Smoke. The event provided attendees with a unique opportunity to taste six different stages of Maker’s Mark liquids (along with Blue Smoke Maker’s Mark Private Select) while hearing first-hand narratives from Maker’s Mark’s very own Jane Bowie, Executive Chef Anthony Onorata, and Assistant General Manager, Grant Gardner.

The winners of The Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards 2019 were announced on Wednesday, July 10th and congratulations to all of our clients who were featured. The Lowell was voted the #1 Hotel in New York City for the second year in a row. They were also voted as the 98th best hotel in the world and the 5th best hotel in the Continental US. Halekulani was voted the 11th best resort hotel in Hawaii. This is a glorious accomplishment and we are proud to represent these hotels.

The line for the Maker’s Market on Tuesday, July 9th

On Tuesday, July 9th, the Maker’s Mark team held a private, RSVP-only “Maker’s Market” event at the Gansevoort Market, where 150 guests were able to eat their way through 10 vendors who prepared the best burgers, sushi, pizza and poke bowls. Maker’s Mark themed cocktails like Maker’s Manhattan and Bourbon & Bubbles were enjoyed in reusable copper mugs in order to promote the #CocktailsForCleanups program. The event was held from 7pm-10pm and the line to get in was around the block. The event’s $15 donations will help clean local waterways, as Maker’s Mark partnered with United By Blue to raise awareness and funds. Thank you to everyone who attended!

On Thursday, July 11th, The Lowell celebrated their newly-appointed Executive Chef Emmanuel Neiss with an intimate “La Table du Chef” Luncheon at Majorelle. The classical French restaurant with Mediterranean influences served dishes such as a chilled cavaillon melon soup with a mimolette and grilled bass with sorrel and tomato, with dessert being a roasted peach with lemon verbena crémeux.

The event was a great success and the menu items were acclaimed for their elevation of texture and color of the classic menu. A delicate gift of orange blossom water was given to represent the signature scent of Majorelle.
